Helpful tips about the Cold River Health Patient Portal

RXNT Patient Portal Link

Cold River Health uses RXNT for an electronic medical record and patient portal. When you register as a patient at Cold River Health, you will be sent an invitation to open a patient portal through email. This is a multi-step process.

  1. Follow the initial link in the email and you will be asked for your last name, your date of birth, and your email address. Once these are confirmed in the system, you will receive a second email with a code to verify your email address and portal sign-up.

  2. Follow the link in the second email and enter the code .

  3. Sometimes, this code does not work and you will see a message to contact your provider. However, if you request an additional code (or two!) it is likely to work.

Unfortunately, Cold River Health's electronic medical record and portal does not integrate with other hospital systems or portals, such as MyChart.

Other helpful tips about the RXNT patient portal and smart phone app:

  • If you have had blood or other tests sent out from Cold River Health to Quest Labs, the results will appear in your portal. Tests from other labs or local hospitals do not show in the portal.

  • When using the app version of the portal, you may not be able to see all of the blood test results. However, using the web browser based version, such as on a laptop or computer, does allow you to see all of your results.

  • You may not receive a notification through the portal of a message from Cold River Health. This is a known issue that RXNT is working to fix.
