Cold River Health is the Direct Primary Care practice of Candice McElroy, MD, a board-certified Family Physician.

Providing comprehensive healthcare to infants through geriatrics, Dr. McElroy looks forward to helping you achieve your optimal health and wellness.

Direct Primary Care provides patients with and without insurance* the same exceptional care for a low monthly membership fee.  The contract is directly between you and your physician to manage your healthcare needs.  Cold River Health does not bill insurance other than Medicare.

As a patient of Cold River Health, you will receive concierge-quality care including enhanced access to your physician, comprehensive and unhurried appointments, and a consistent and lasting relationship with your primary care physician.

*Cold River Health is contracted with Medicare Part B (original Medicare) through April 1, 2025, and will bill Medicare and supplemental plans directly for any services provided.  Patients with Medicare will not pay a monthly membership fee prior to April 1, 2025.
